Alta Pediatrics was founded by Kimberly Hurley in 2020. After working for many years in large corporate practices Kim became frustrated with the focus on driving high volume instead of being able to focus on patient care. Kimberly decided to found Alta Pediatrics as a way to provide focused 1:1 care for patients. Therapists work individually with each child and have adequate time to focus on the session, communicate with caregivers, and clearly document progress. By focusing on the patient first, the practice has grown from providing home-based services during the height of the pandemic to a multi-location practice providing services in-clinic, as well as in schools.
